e-Journal of Dermatology is an international online journal publishing research articles after full peer review. All articles are published, without barriers to access, immediately upon acceptance. Original articles in all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and management of skin disorders, pathophysiology, epidemiology, as well as skin biology, immunology and cell biology are published, along with review articles, which offer readers a broader view of the available literature.
CRITERIA FOR PUBLICATION
Publication of articles by e-Journal of Dermatology is dependent primarily on their validity and coherence, as judged by peer reviewers, who are also asked whether the writing is comprehensible and how interesting they consider the article to be. Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article is original and unpublished and not being considered for publication elsewhere. The responsible author must ensure that the article has been seen and approved by all the other authors. Manuscripts accepted for publication become the copyright of the journal.
SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS
All articles must be submitted online. Full details of how to submit a manuscript are given in the instructions for authors. Peer review is managed fully electronically (articles are distributed in PDF form, which is automatically generated from the submitted files). Articles will be published electronically in manuscript form immediately upon acceptance. A fully structured web version, and accompanying laid out PDF, will be published within a few weeks of acceptance.
